About the Islamic Center of Jarrell

The Islamic Center of Jarrell (ICJ) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in October 2023 to serve the spiritual and social needs of the Muslim community in Jarrell and the surrounding cities in Northern Williamson County, Texas. With over 50 Muslim families of diverse backgrounds residing within a 10-mile radius, our community is rapidly growing.

In recent years, we've held prayers, including Taraweeh, and Sunday Quran classes in the homes of generous community members. However, as our community continues to grow, these arrangements have become insufficient. Many of us currently commute 30-50 minutes for Jumaa prayers due to the lack of a nearby masjid.

Recognizing the need for a dedicated masjid, a few members of our community generously acquired this property with the intention of donating a portion of it (Waqf) for the establishment of ICJ. We are now in the process of renovating the existing building on this property to accommodate daily prayers and serve the expanding needs of our community.

We welcome you to be part of this noble effort as we unite to build a place of worship, learning, and community for current and future generations.
